1200 Pelham was developed around 1983 by the Windsor-Aughtry Construction Group. The community has three phases, each having its own cul-de-sac. There are seventy-five homes in the planned unit development with three floor plans in use. The first is a single-level two or three bedroom plan. The second is a walk-in main level and a finished basement with two or three bedrooms. Third is a spacious three-story town-home with three or four bedrooms. All dwellings have their own garage.
Through the years, many residents have made additional changes to the interiors of their units such as adding screened porches or sunrooms. The external appearance of homes is carefully monitored to maintain a unique, consistent architectural theme through use of cupolas, brass door hardware and brass lanterns
Our pool is a great fellowship area where residents gather to swim or catch up on the week’s events. The community excels at bringing residents together through social events centered on the pool facility. In 2011, the entire concrete pool apron, underground utilities, furniture and flowerbeds were upgraded and modernized.
Throughout it’s history, 1200 Pelham has enjoyed rapid turnover of units offered for sale with many passing through word of mouth rather than on the open market. Due largely to the close-knit neighborhood, security has not been a problem.
