Recent criminal activity in our area includes the following events: The nearby sporting goods store on San Pablo has had several break-ins. There have been a number of day time break-ins on Cornell St. and Santa Fe St. The criminals are targeting houses that have electronics such as lap tops visible from a window.
The bank has foreclosed on the abandoned house at Gilman and Kains and the owners have been evicted. The owners who were evicted had recently inherited the house from their grandmother. The house has become increasingly run down over the last few months. Officer Gavin advised us that no one should be in the house now and that we should call the police if we see anyone in the house.
