The Pawtucket Times on 2/9 reported that one of two churches may be closing: St. Joseph's or Sacred Heart, both of Pawtucket. The parishes are now merged.Which one is closing? What will be the results? Can artists purchase one of the two buildings?

By the way, the former St. Martin's on Newport Avenue have been purchased by a Hispanic Church...Which church bought the Hughes and Newport Avenue church?

Sacred Heart Merge w/St Joes

I'm not sure about where they are supposedly moving to in the downtown.


I believe Sacred Heart is merging with St. Joseph's. I'm not sure about
the status of their property.
