Latest Info:
If your group was one of the eight that submitted grant proposals two years ago. you need to come to this meeting and talk with John Goldwainte. He will give specific instructions on what you must do to implement those grants The new plan submitted for the next three yen is very different from what art how the previous year. To be eligible for a grant, 50% of the community must be affected.
A new Allstate Grants Committee that will oversee the next three years will also be put in place. This means consistency. Responsibility and conformity in applying the grant. That committee will oversee all activity of the grant and make recommendations to the new Board One of the biggest flaw’s of the old way of doing business was all the reasons the new way will make it work and work much better. Only one way of administering the grant will he in effect, it will benefit 50% of the people. and all proposals will comply with the grant parameters. Volunteers come and go, our Commanders and Inspectors have come and gone. and with each new person no matter what bad s/he wears everything has had to start from the beginning again. With a stable 5 person grant committee in place this will happen.
After the initial set up of the committee and after they settle down into their roles, the process should flow easy. This will benefit everyone: Commander on down to the new volunteer Please give this committee the support!
