Notes From The President

I wish for each member a happy, prosperous New Year filled with peace, love, good health and joy.

I was very pleased with our auction, gifts for Sylvia,s Kids and gifts for the rochelle Center. Athens really had a great December and I know you are as pleased as I with the Christmas Cheer we were able to share with those less fortunate.

Our January Meeting will also be a very good meeting where we can see some of the fruit of our work. The grant of $1200.00 from the SBMEF has been received and will be presented to Jalecia or a member of her family. Margaret hughes is making the arrangements.

Joetter Smith Jones, Business Associate Night Chairman will be giving out forms for nominations for Business Associate of the Year soon so be thinking about someone that you would like to nominate. Plans are being made for a really big night. Mark your calendars and be sure to attend our April meeting.

We have an excellent speaker lined up for the January meeting. Virginia Townzen is with the Nashville School of Law on Sidco Dr. She will be presenting some very interesting and important things.
