Direoce is lending his vocal talents to the First Church of Deliverance, and the Community Renewal Chorus, both of Chicago.
Direoce was last seen portraying Thomas Dorsey, in The Legacy, The Concert, featuring the famed Marla Gibbs, from the hit sitcom "227". Direoce toured with the Black Ensemble Theater Touring production of the "Jackie Wilson Story".
Direoce is, also, the vocal coach for the Black Ensemble Youth Theater Project.
An amazing song stylist/writer, Direoce unique musical approach bridges Classical, Jazz & Gospel into his own distinctive "voice". A native of Chicago, Direoce, like many notable soulful vocalists began singing in church at an early age. Direoce is a former member of the nationally acclaimed Thompson Community Singers of Chicago, and Howard University Gospel Choir, Washington, DC.
Direoce has studied music formally at the Sherwood Conservatory of Chicago where he has been presented in several recitals.
