Great things are happening in the life of 24 year-old singer, songwriter, producer and vocal arranger, Erik Dillard.
Since the age of three, Erik discovered the gift of music and has ran with it full force ever since. Originally serving at the Bible Way Church, he was director of the Youth and Mass Choirs and coordinator for the Youth and Adult Praise Teams.
The uniqueness and innovative approach of Erik’s ministry earned him his first national television appearance on the Bobby Jones’ Artist Retreat, which can be viewed on The Word Network.
In 2002, Erik worked as Co-Producer for Gospel Music’s new artist, Arthur “Buster” Gray and High Praise Company. Their debut album, "Let The Voices Sing," contains much of Erik’s work.
“Bless the Lord” and “Almighty God” were songs both written by Erik. “None Can Compare” and “It’s Because” were also co-written by Erik. “It’s Because” was selected to be one of the featured songs for the 2003 G.M.W.A. (Gospel Music Workshop of America).
Since his 2001 "Great Things" album debut release, Erik’s ministry has taken him from a local audience to now international audiences. With record sales in Europe, Brazil, Japan, London and the Netherlands, Erik is making his mark by breaking through racial and cultural barriers.
Currently, Erik is a member of the All Nations Church where he serves as Co-Director of the Sounds of Zion, and composes for its worship team.
Erik is presently pursuing his B.A. in Music Education. He, also, now operates as a musical education clinician for High Praise International Company, an organization that promotes musical enhancement for Columbus’ inner city youth.
Erik is now preparing for the release of his sophomore album, The Basics, which is scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2004.
