5163 Kensington Ave: Started Spring 2009 we started transforming this lot into edible landscaping. The ground ended up being mostly clay and we lost many days of planting, preparing soil. In July 2010 we had plenty of veggies: green and red tomatoes, bell peppers, squash, sweat peas, green beans, and a few hot peppers. Seeds are started for the spring garden, check back for planting times.
5106 Kensington Ave: Planned for lot is a pharmacy garden, pumpkin patch, and watermelons.
5114/5116 Kensington Ave: Kids garden and play land! Interactive play area and garden for the kids in the neighborhood :-) The neighborhood kids are planning a pizza garden and sunflower seed hut for spring 2011. Be sure and check back in the spring for updates, pictures, and upcoming events. This garden will be the main outdoor classroom for the HHS and youth programs.
