The Adair Park Community Development Corporation, hosted a work shop on January 12, 2006 addressing the enormous Gas energy bills received by some of its neighborhoods, particularly the elderly and disabled.
The work shop was conducted by Mrs. Cynthia Johnson Director with the Public Service Commission.
Mrs. Johnson came with a treasure trove of information for all that attended the workshop including how to shop for therms and where to get help to pay the utility bills

Reporters and photographers from Channels 5,46,and 11 covered the story and displayed some of the utility bills on the evening news
This workshop was open to all residents of the community and the NPU-V communities homeowners as well as renters.
