According to the Sat. 3/15 Providence Journal, St. Leo the Great School is closing in June. The city said Sacred Heart Church will be closing, soon. I wonder if the Diocese of Providence will sell the properties to developers. St. Leo the Great Elementary would be a perfect site for low income housing units. Readers, what do you think?

Sad, but change and consolidation sometimes help except if you are a college and local sports fan and you lose 790 to listen or chat...We certainly need more affordable housing, but with the Governor cutting even the NOP - Neighborhood Opportunity funding, everyone most be unsure who or what is next.
