The speed limit in Oak Ridge is 20 m.p.h. In response to several complaints regarding speeding in the neighborhood, ORHA has asked Capt Stan Chapman of the Shelby County Sheriff's Office for assistance. The Sheriff's Office plans to place a speed readout trailer in the neighborhood and may place deputies in the neighborhood to issue citations. Please help to make our streets safer for the children and adults who walk or ride their bikes on our streets by observing the speed limit.
