The Regional Comprehenisve Plan (RCP) is the first effort by SANDAG (San Diego
Association of Governments) to write a 20-year plan for the San Diego region,
that includes both land use recommendations and transportation proposals. The RCP is out for public comment, which is due back to SANDAG by May 13, 2004.
-
As part of the outreach, SANDAG will conduct a series of presentations on the
RCP. One presentation will be at the Price office tower (4305 University Ave)
at 6:00PM Wednesday, April 21, 2004. I think it will be in the basement conference room, but I'm not sure about that.
-
Plan to attend, find out what the RCP proposes for land use and transportation
and offer your two-dollars worth. You can also hand in written comments to
SANDAG at the meeting; send in comments by USPS; e-mail comments to them at
rcp*sandag.org; or deliver oral comments to the court reporter who will be at the meeting for that purpose.
-
If you would like to see the RCP, you can find it on the web at SANDAG's web
page (www sandag.org/rcp). I believe they have the RCP there (in pdf) format
so you can download parts (or all) of it.
