Hi All, First I want to thank those who showed up at the meeting to support us: Connie Johnson, Craig Campbell, Tim and Chantelle Huber, Cappy, Roger Moen, Karen Esposito, Drew Gibson, Martin, and my husband, Robert. Also thanks to the following people who wrote letters: Julie Wright, Jessica & Liam Doran, Kim Waldum, and the Osentowski's.
The engineering dept. gave a report to the commissioners not in our favor and the commission agreed. WE spoke passionately and made good points, but it was still no. BUT, I have a uploaded the PID documents for you to read. That is the solution they offered us, or an HOA. HOA's are way tooexpensive, and a huge PIA. So the PID, public improvement district, is an option for us to pursue. There are timetables to be met as it has to go to a vote in Nov. so we have to finish all the steps by Aug. We plan to have some meetings here for discussion and I will keep you updated via this website.
Another thing we need to pursue, the fire taxing district. We were not aware at the time, that the co. commission has nothing to do with fire/rescue. So, since 5-6 months out of the year we can't get service, we plan to get with them for discussions and solutions to this problem.
Any help with any of this will be greatly appreciated.
