Robert was on the phone today with the Co. Engineer and Roads and Bridges, again, trying to get more information as he had more questions come up. It appears that the state subsidizes the other roads getting snow removal/maintenece. What we don't know is if the Co is getting state money for Alpine Breckenridge. If they are, this needs to be exposed. It still isn't fair. Robert is still thinking on this and trying to come up with another plan of action that would work for us, as an HOA or PID is not the way to go. Anyone have any good ideas?
We did find out from our neighbor, who is a firefighter, that there is one truck in Blue River that can make it up our road. S, theoreticazlly, we can get fire/rescue service in winter. So, that argument is no longer valid.
There is a meetingat Re, Whit, & Blue tomorrow, Nov. 6 at 2 pm and there is a place on the agenda for public comment/questions.
