I met a man who works in Big Horn Hardware who threatened the county with a lawsuit if they didn't plow his road. He lives in North Breck North West of Tiger Run if I'm not mistaken. He and I got to talking and he said they tried to do the same thing to him years back and he won without having to take it to court. I still say that it is deplorable that the board puts an $11,500 price tag (remember it was $11,500 NOT $14,000, $11,550 was what it would cost additional to take care of our roads) on our safety, right to easy access of our homes, the short and long term value, the access for EMS/Fire etc.! It is pathetic that the county operates like a dictatorship in this day and age! They told both me on one occasion, and Robert on another, "this is not a discussion" and "this is not a debate" when the two of us simply posed questions! The board's true colors same out and I haven't seen dirty pool tactics like this since Pennsylvania. The Summit County Mafia is alive and well. We are devalued as human beings, yet our homes are (in taxable eyes) more valuable than ever!
