PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION?

The Board of Directors meeting at the home of Dick Sweeney, was called to order on July 18th, 2007 at 7:05 p.m. by president, Dick Sweeney. Present were Dick, Ron, Shirley, Debi, Missy, and Martin. Sharon (in Hawaii) and Chris (husband in hospital) were absent. Guests present were Jack Benham, Ernie Yoes, Debbie Sweeney. The minutes were read and approved.

PURPOSE OF CALL: To review the findings pertaining to reorganization of the operation of the association and updating our Bylaws.
? 
OLD BUSINESS: Ron and Dick reported on their meeting with attorney Garry Wasserman of Wasserman & Kornheiser. They specialize in HOA's and litigation. Garry will guide us in the right direction to legally rewrite and update our Bylaws for our present situation. A template for common Bylaws was obtained and will be evaluated by the committee for our POA. They will report next month.

We received and accepted a letter of resignation from board member Ginger Mueller.

NEW BUSINESS: Dick suggested we close out the association's post office box. It is an unnecessary cost and rarely used. The directors approved unanimously. The mailing address to be changed to: AHPOA 2955 Olive View Rd. Alpine, CA 91901. California Bank & Trust will be contacted for the change of address and Dick Sweeney will replace Sharon Haven on the signature card. Ron Littlefield will remain on the card with Dick.

Ron will check with the county about the street sweeping. They were here for two days. Normal procedure usually takes one day.

Dick suggested we begin tape recording the meetings at some point? in the future.
? 
Ron will contact Sharon Haven to obtain her letter of resignation.

The next meeting will be August 22nd, 2007, 7PM at the Sweeney home.
