AHPOA Minutes from 9/18/07
The Board of Directors meeting at the home of the Sweeney‘s, was called to order on September 18th, 2007 at 7:05 p.m. by president, Dick Sweeney. Present were Chris, Dick, Missy, Martin, Pat, Ron, Sharon and Debi. Shirley was absent. Guests present were Jack Benham and Debbie Sweeney.

The minutes from the July 18th, 2007 meeting were voted on and approved.

PURPOSE OF CALL:
To review, edit and vote upon the AHPOA letter drafted by Ron, Dick and Chris.

OLD BUSINESS:
Ron contacted the county in regard to the street sweeping that was performed in July. After an in depth investigation, it has been determined that the local DPW driver has been sweeping a few of our streets while he is in the area. This has been at no charge to the POA.

The newly drafted AHPOA letter was read, discussed and voted on with unanimous approval. The letter will be mailed to all property owners via USPS and posted to our website, no later than October 10th, 2007.

Martin reported on the design and concept of the AHPOA entrance signs. He contacted two local towing companies that will build and install the signs at no charge to the POA, provided they have the towing contract. This project will be tabled until our attorney advises us to proceed.

Dick, Ron and Martin will continue to work on a draft to moderately update our CCR's and Bylaws. They will continue to confer with our attorney, Garry Wasserman. They will report at the next meeting, in November.

Ron will continue to investigate the possibility of changing our name to Alpine Home Owners Association. (HOA, in place of POA) He will contact the County and Attorney Garry Wasserman for legalities.

The next POA Meeting is Tuesday , Nov. 27th. at 7 PM at the Bread Basket 1347 Tavern Rd, Alpine .

The meeting was adjourned at 7:52p.m.
