''Fun''-Raising Ideas

?· Crafts?—In a creative mood? Craft decorations
and sell them.
?· Flower Bouquet Raffle?—Ask a local florist to donate one fresh bouquet a month for 3 months. Raffle the opportunity to ?“win some springtime for your desk?” during the winter months at work.
?· Dedicate your walk to a special survivor or cancer victim. On Valentine?’s Day make and sell sugar cookies shaped like hearts and call them ?“Hearts for ______?”. You could also sell buttons with a picture of that person on them.
?· If you work in a school, organize teachers to bring cookies every Friday and sell them 2 for a quarter to students.
?· Pot Luck Lunches?—Designate every Wednesday as Relay for Life Pot Luck Day where team members take turns making chili, salads, desserts, etc. and offer to employees at a set price.
?· Odd Jobs?—Call on neighbors and ask to do some odd jobs for them such as shoveling snow or raking leaves. Make sure you tell them what cause you?’re working for! (This is a good one for kids.)
?· Primo Parking?—Employees can designate the best parking place in the lot and auction it off each month during the winter (when no one wants to walk in the cold.)
