Washougal resident Wes Hickey and his attorney John Karpinski have decided not to challenge the recent decision of the city council to build a 100 foot water tower north of the city.
Concerns over the city water supply still exist, however, and the council has been asked by Karpinski on behalf of his client to begin working on updating their water plan within the next three to six months. It is hoped the money the city will save by not having to go through the appeals process will be used to work on the water issues now.
