Organic Gardening, Permaculture

Posted in: NE Hazel Dell
I'm an experienced organic gardener and a novice computer user. Please respond directly to my e-mail: bevesalt@transport.com.
I'm working on Community Supported Agriculture managed permaculturally. I demonstrate sustainable living on a 90' x 110' suburban lot. I'm looking for like-minded individuals to bring into being the Evergreen Sustainable Agricultural Land Trust (ESALT).

Some of the permaculture features at Bev's Place include: Rain water harvesting, recycled auto glass counter top tiles, worm bins, 5 kinds of composting, all four seasons raised vegetable beds, fruits, nuts, grains, berries, bamboo, native plants, real linoleum, lawn alternatives, drought & slug resistant flowers, herbs, climate control plantings, 3 source heating & cooking (Y2K prepared); accumulator plants, guilds and compost for fertilizers. cover crops, seed saving, remodeling discards into garden structures, habitat for beneficial birds and insects, mason bees, house sharing, library, cob bench in spiritual retreat, clothesline fragrance gardens, resources for networking with like-minded folks.

I give free guided tours (groups of 6-15 by appointment). Contact me at: 574-1343 or bevesalt@transport.com

I have an abundance of resource materials I would be glad to share with you which includes: Organizations, Periodicals, Books, Catalogues, Nurseries and more.

I could also suggest a one-day seminar on Saturday, April 10th, located south of Olympia. For more information on that, e-mail to: permawest@olywa.net or call Wild Thyme Farm @ 360-273-7117.
