Volume 4, Number 1 -- VISTA VIEWS -- Fall 1999

Sep 02, 2003

Palatine Road meeting, Village Hall, September 13, 1999 at 7:30 PM. See reverse side.

Since we had no picnic this year and still have sufficient money in the treasury, there were no dues collected this summer for the 1999-2000 fiscal year. The next Vista Directory will be published next summer.

Your association representatives met with the Village?’s Public Works Department in September to discuss the Arlington Vista sanitary and storm sewer project. The Village has almost completed its examination of the 56 improperly connected homes in the Vista. Later this fall, a public meeting will be held for all Vista residents to explain the storm and sanitary sewer plans and for those 56 homeowners to discuss remedial measures. The plans for the upgrading of certain Vista storm sewers and the Arlington Terrace sanitary sewer, which benefit both Arlington Vista and Arlington Terrace, are almost complete and ready to go out for bids in a few months. Earlier this year, State Representative Carolyn Krause obtained $1 million of state money to be directed to the Village specifically for the use of improving the storm and sanitary sewers in Arlington Vista.
