VISTA MEETING
A meeting of the general membership (everybody) of the Arlington Vista Homeowners Association took place in the Camelot Park Community Building, 1005 Suffield Drive, on April 17, 2002 at 7:30 PM. The purpose of the meeting was (1) to hear officers?’ updates (2) listen to suggestions and other great thoughts from our members (3) entertain a motion to vote on new officers for the next two years or ratify the present officers (5) meet your neighbors. Sue Zickert was elected secretary, and the current president, vice-president, and treasurer were returned to office.
VISTA PICNIC
The annual Vista Picnic date is September 14, 2002. Mark your calendars. Last year?’s picnic continued the excellent run we have recently enjoyed.
Arlington Vista Street Resurfacing
Vista residents have asked about the condition of our streets, especially following the installation of storm sewers under certain streets last autumn. We wrote a letter to the Village Director of Engineering asking for information. Please see Page 3 for his reply dated January 25, 2002. When the Village resurfaces Rosehill Drive in a year or two, the Vista entrance at Rosehill Drive and Windsor Drive will be widened slightly to allow two exiting lanes to Windsor Drive in addition to the one entrance lane from Windsor Drive.
Arlington Vista Sewer and Drainage Project
The Arlington Vista Sewer and Drainage Improvement Project has been completed after a delay last fall. See the last two pages of this letter.
For the purpose of our record keeping to verify that the project accomplished its purpose, please report any sewer retroflows into your basement to Jack Fahey.
Palatine Road Project
It will not be until 2004 that you will see major work beginning on reconstruction adjacent to Arlington Vista.
