A team of 40 young people from the visiting Nazarene Youth Conference will be joining Auburndale neighborhood residents in a business corrider cleanup effort. Teams will fan out to pick of trash and debris along area business corridors. Work will be focused from Palatka at Manslick of the west to Palatka at Southside Drive on the east; Southside to New Cut; Old 3rd to Cristland and New Cut from Palatka to the railroad tracks at Auburndale Village.
ANA President Ken Williams and VP Ken McFarland are coordinating efforts with Brightside officials and the Auburndale business community to welcome these young people to Louisville and to express a neighborhood thank you for a job well done.
New Cut Road is part of a Metro Government Task Force looking to revitalize the New Cut - Taylor Blvd corridor, a joint project of Council Members Vicki Welch, D-13, Marianne Butler, D-15, Dan Johnson, D-21 and David Yates, D-25.
