The Augusta Bulldogs Blockwatch is Being Honored

Our Councilman Claude Mattox wrote to tell us that our blockwatch is one of 48 groups to be honored.

We were chosen out of 90+ to be given an award at the 12th Annual Neighborhoods That Work Award celebration.

We are quite surprised and just thrilled. We have worked hard for our neighbors both on our block, in our neighborhood and in our community.

We were not even dreaming that we'd be chosen. We simply wanted to get into the yearbook. ha!

We hope that our neighbors and friends will be able to join us and our larger group; Glen Canyon Vista Neighborhood Assoc. This will be our first year. I was planning to go now that I've got a wheelchair and now that Jeff's heard that there will be a free dinner buffet; he's going to miss some sleep that day!
