Does anyone know what is going on with the pool? Why are the swim lanes always taking up most of it? Whenever I go by lately I still see most of the people crammed into the shallow end of the pool with a couple of lap swimmers having their choice of several lanes. Are we saving water? The lifeguards? What?
Don't eat yellow snow

When people relieve themselves in one end of the pool, intelligent people move to the other end of the pool. For further information see the ''BabyRuth'' scene from ''Caddyshack''.

Nude girls in the bathroom!

I would also like to know what is happening with the pool. I have three young children under the age of six who enjoy using the pool. Like most people I would like to know what the new board is doing about the pool situation. I think it is very unfair that the UT swim team has taken over our neighborhood pool. From going to the pool frequently I can tell you that it is hard for my young children to even practice learning how to swim with out bumping into someone else. Also, the UT swim team is under there own restrictions and do not have to follow any Circle C swim center rules, which I find unfair to my children who live here. I also have to say I don?’t have a problem with a bunch of young nude women changing in the girls bathroom, but don?’t like my young girls 3 and 6 exposed to it. There are about ten nude young girls standing around mirror at one time chatting, I?’m sure it would be a great turn on for a young guy who accidentally went into the wrong bathroom but, I don?’t want my children exposed to it!!!

I would also like to know what's going on with your pool. I'm relocating to Austin and was attracted to your neighborhood by the Olympic size outdoor pool and by the USA Swim Club, The Longhorn Aquatics, who practice there. Both of my children are competitive swimmers and a pool with a swim club in the neighborhood is a huge plus for us. Not to mention that the swim club that practices there is the number #1 swim club in the country and has over 40 swimmers (the largest number ever from a single club) currently competing at the Olympic trials in Long Beach, CA. What a claim to fame for your neighborhood!! If there are plans afoot to get rid of the swim club at your pool, I would like to know so that I can look for a home in another neighborhood. I have read that your neighborhood is considering building another swim center. Maybe you should ensure that one is not a perfect competition size pool that way you don?’t have to worry about anyone stringing lines across it. You could have them build one of those odd shaped pools with a whirlpool and one of those huge water slides because you?’re right, sometimes even swimmers just want to splash around.
Many thanks, Rob
