The new Middle School at Slaughter Lane and FM 1926 IS FINALLY in the AISD Bond package!
This only happened because of more than year of hard work on the part of CCHOA, the Education Committee, and Carolyn Merritt, in particular!
YOUR board members wrote letters, email, and phoned the school board, as well as attened all of their public meetins - FOR YOU and YOUR KIDS !!!
EVERY SINGLE PARENT must now pledge to go and vote for the bond in September - that's all YOU have to do, and it could not be easier. But, if you don't, then it may not pass. This is a LOT of money that he school system is asking for, in a year when we just approved a new bond for ACC, the Hosptial district, and we have some greedy contractors and bankers trying to get us to approve Toll for roads we already paid for !!
Please pledge to register and vote!! The September election will have a very light turnout, and just a few vocal conservatives people with no kids in school could defeat this bond. You HAVE to win this vote and please get all of your friends and neighbors to vote for it.
