Azalea Neighborhood Association Scholarship Fund - 2006

The Azalea Homes Community Association offers two $500 scholarships each year to students living within the neighborhood, who attend St. Petersburg College. To apply, please send the following information to:

$500.00 Scholarship Application Guidelines

Must be an Azalea Resident.
Proof of residency, (phone bill, electric bill or water bill, copy of Drivers License or Official Florida Identification Card)

Member in good standing of Azalea Neighborhood Association ?– (paid membership and up to date)

Presently attending or enrolling in any accredited College

Payment will be reimbursed to student upon submission of validated payment receipt.

Submit a suitable essay on ?“Why I Deserve/ Need A Scholarship?”?

Verification of attendance or enrollment and GPA from education institute. Minimum GPA requirement 2.5.

Recommendation:
2 Letters of recommendation from sponsors, who are members in good standing of the Azalea Neighborhood Association.

Letter from former High School, College or employer.

All applications for Scholarships must be submitted no later than:
August enrollment by 6/30
January enrollment by 11/30



The Azalea Neighborhood is located in the western section of St. Petersburg. Just a stones throw from Tyrone Square Mall and Boca Ciega Bay, it is convenient to most of the amenities that draw people to St. Petersburg.
