Why do we take the time to call in service requests everyday? Why do we stop and pick up trash ourselves and remove signs ourselves and inform people they can?’t sell their wares in public places??? Because we?’re trying to keep Bachman clean and attractive while we?’re also working to rid the area of nonconforming businesses. And guess what?!? We?’re doing that, too!!

Many people thought the sexually oriented businesses would never relocate. Well, they are. And we?’ll talk more about that at our monthly meeting. In the meantime, we?’re looking at the prospect of having more vacant buildings in the area?—UNLESS we work together to promote good positive economic development. And that?’s what we?’re doing. And we?’ll tell you more about new development and revitalization at this month?’s meeting, not just for Northwest Highway, but also for Denton Drive, Harry Hines and surrounding areas.

Certain people will tell you that whatever they want to put in our neighborhood is okay, because it?’s ?“better than what?’s there now?”. What kind of attitude is that?? We haven?’t worked our hearts out just to get something minutely better than what we?’ve had!! We have one chance to get something infinitely better than what we?’ve had.

Wake up Friends, and stand up for what you SHOULD HAVE in your community. We have all the best amenities RIGHT HERE ! We have Love Field, which is expanding. We have the second largest park in the City. We will soon have DART light rail with two station stops. We have tremendous traffic flow with no congestion. We have the strongest, most active community association in the City, supporting Homeowners and Businesses alike.

With the SOBs relocating, Bachman is the logical choice for new development, not just on Northwest Highway, but along Denton Drive and Harry Hines as well.
