MAY 2003
NEW CC&R (77% VOTED FOR THIS CHANGE) BEGINS AUGUST 1, 2003
The new requirement to have your trash containers completely screened on all sides goes into effect at the end of July 2003 ?– this does not leave you a lot of time to build a new enclosure or expand the smaller one you may already have. IF YOU ARE GOING TO BUILD AN ENCLOSURE, PLEASE SUBMIT A DRAWING OF YOUR PLANS TO THE BOARD. The next Board Meeting is July 9th ?– please have your plans turned in to a Board Member prior to that date.
**William Cubias of Mr. Craftsman Services (602:540-3294) is willing to offer a ?“bulk?” price if enough of the homeowners want enclosures built. (He is one of the few willing to undertake small projects.)
**You may, of course, keep the container in your garage or rear yard.
SHEDS:
This is the season to trim bushes and hedges; and all of a sudden sheds are becoming visible. Please let your landscaping grow to screen the sheds or arrange to install a slightly higher fence or a dense lattice cover. Thank you!
BELL ROAD
Bell Road work is well under way. We ask that you make note of any trucks on our common area (write down the name of the company, the date, the make, model and license number) so we can file any necessary claims for damage to our common area. If you have a camera, take a picture, please.
**Once work is completed we will present a plan for further changes to the Bell Road landscaping**
WEB SITE:
The address for our website is http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/phoenix/barclay
The City of Phoenix web site provides information on when they require a permit and has a form to download for your use. This link has been put on our site for your convenience.
HOME ADDITIONS/IMPROVEMENTS/PAINTING:
(1) You need to have plans for home additions approved by the Homeowners?’ Board or Architectural Committee BEFORE you take them to the City to obtain a building permit.
(2) Please check the Paint Boards for approved colors before you paint the exterior of your home. The trim colors shown are for use on garage doors, low screen walls or light fixture posts. If you want to use them anywhere else, please have your paint scheme approved before you begin to paint.
NEXT BOARD MEETING: will be held at 7 P.M. July 9, 2003. You are encouraged to attend. If you need to have plans approved for new enclosures and/or screening devices you are encouraged to give them to a Board Member prior to this meeting.
**The agenda for the meeting will be posted several days ahead of time in the boxes on the fence behind your mail box**
