Baristo Neighborhood Organization

After the third major fire at the Andalucia apartment complex within a year, the Baristo Neighborhood Organization is worried about the fire safety of that complex.

The board wants to meet with city fire Chief Blake Goetz to get answers on what's being done to prevent another blaze at the building.  The fires indicate a continued threat to our neighborhood safety if some community outreach is not addressed for the tenants at Andalucia.

The board has asked Chief Goetz to clarify whether the fire department has inspected completely all three Andalucia buldings and upgraded their fire safety equipment, and whether the complex has been subject to any violation and fines.
