Budget Surplus Anticipated For 2011.

If all goes according to plan, the Barristers Place Community Association (BPCA) will end the year with a budget surplus of about $1800.

Income plus the carry-over from 2010 was $12,705.

Actual expenses to date amount to $9100.  Anticipated expenses for the balance of the year are estimated at $1771. The two numbers total a year end expense total of $10,868.

You need not be an accountant to determine that the BPCA budget is not "plush."  However, careful accounting procedures instituted by Treasurer Rich Ordeman have allowed Barristers to keep dues steady while still sponsoring a number of community activities such as the picnic, increased landscaping maintenance, new entry lighting/planting, and a community directory.
