Snow Tips

Barristers Place has already experienced a bit of snow this year.  If forecasts prove correct, there is more to come.

As we move into the Winter months, it seems prudent to review some simple tips for dealing with Old Man Winter and the snow he may bring.

* When snow is anticipated, please keep vehicles in driveways and off the streets.  Vehicles parked on the streets block the work of snowplows.

*As much as possible, shovel (or blow) the snow from the sidewalks adjacent to your home.

*Keep storm drains free and clear of snow. Clogged drains turn to ice and create walking/driving hazards.

*Remember your neighbors.  Help neighbors, if necessary, to deal with winter emergencies.   If you personally cannot assist a neighbor, contact the community association to request assistance.

Barristers Place does not contract for any snow removal within the community.  Snow removal is a government responsibility.
