Bay Crest Park Civic Assn.

Many people I talk to seem to be unaware of our Special Taxing District, which maintains the common areas of Bay Crest.  It pays for the mowing and tree trimming, pays for the water used to irrigate the plants in the medians of Bay Crest Drive and Lopez Drive, and the electric bill for the street lights within the neighborhood.  They are considering other projects as well, one being to reclaim the boat ramp from the county and make it private.  It would be good if more residents attended their meetings to find out what is happening and what is being proposed.  The Taxing Districe board meets at the Town 'N Country Hospital on the 2nd Monday of each month, starting at 7 pm.
