Did anyone feel the earthquake at 5:30 am? I sure did!! I looked on the internet
and they say that the midwest is on a fault line and is overdue for a very

They have what to do before/during/and after an earthquake, and how to prepare
for one. I also thought that if we had an emergency kit prepared, it wouldn't do
much good if the house caved in on it and we couldn't get to it. It seems like
a better idea to have it in a trunk with a waterproof tarp over it, and if its sitting
on a crate, that would be good to discourage water from getting in the bottom
if it rains a lot and ends up in a puddle. At least this would get you buy for a few
days.
