Neighborhood Yard Sale

The spring sale is on Saturday, April 5th from 8:00 a.m.-2:00p.m. The sale will be advertised in the Florida Times Union, Coastal Trading Post, and the Beaches Leader by the Beachwood Civic Association (BCA). We will also have signs posted on Beach Blvd. You are welcome to design and display your own posters to draw attention to your sale!

Tips for a successful yard sale:
Stop traffic-Place eye-catching items where drivers can see them. Have something for everyone.

Set up in style- Organize items into labeled sections, such as ?“House wares?” and ?“Sports Gear?”. Clean everything to make it look as new as possible.

Price it right-As a general rule, sell bigger items, such as appliances and toys, at a third to half of what they cost new.

Be prepared-Carry a fanny pack with lots of change so people don?’t have to wait. Have newspapers ready to wrap up breakables, and plastic bags to make it easy for shoppers to buy multiple items.
