I believe that diversity in a community is a positive thing. How do we keep it diverse?

There is a plan being discussed to offer residents children who attend SF public schools from K-12 a paid college education. I think this is a good idea. What do you think?

I agree totally.  I've also considered the same question many times.  "How do we keep it diverse?"  There are certainly many ways in my opinion.  I believe that the actions which have the biggest impact are those that create a community that you can be proud of; one where the residents communicate, share and work together routinely.

I like the idea about having a paid college education but as usual the details make all of the difference.  Will it mean higher taxes or does SF schools have the money some where already?

Personally I'm just glad to see residents that take time to be involved in their neighborhood associations.  I'm hoping that we can get a big turnout for the Home Owners Association picnic's 1st planning meeting that is coming up on May 6th. Smile
