Quick Facts About The Eta Theta Chapter:
- Our members are mostly mom's, from 28-40 years of age, with kids from 0-8 years old.
- We are a traditional chapter, that meets 2x's per month for business meetings, Sept. thru May, at the homes of our members.
- There are 4 basic aspects to our chapter: Social, Civic, Service and Ways & Means.
- Our chapter is run in parliamentary procedure, with an Exectuve Board.
- We have at least 1 social per month, which usually rotates girls only, couple's, families.
- An education or cultural "program" is presented by the host at each regular business meeting.
- We participate in many service projects in our community, from financial & item donations to personal involvement.
- We actively participate in Beaverton City Council of BSP, which includes bi-monthly meetings,
an Autumn Social, Valentine Dance, Inter Council Brunch & Founder's Day events.
- Membership to Beta Sigma Phi is by invitation only; Eta Theta asks that you attend at least 2 meetings and a social before we will consider you for membership. It is a good way to make
sure it's a good fit for everyone!
- Our current chapter dues are $40 per year. International dues are $38 per year.
- We each have "secret sisters" who we purchase thoughtful gifts & cards for during the year.
- Participation is a huge part of Beta Sigma Phi; You get what you give!
