As many of you are aware, the very large palm tree at the front entrance of the three subdivisions at Westpointe and the large circle, is dead.
The information we received from the landscaping crew is that it has a fungus that is also in the soil.
According to them, any palm tree we replant there would also die from this fungus.
We are unsure at this point in the action to take or what is necessary to resolve this issue.
As it will take a lot of study, I suggested that we just remove the large palm and landscape the small area with flowers for the time being.
When we determine the best course of action, and after we get input here on what people would like to see, we can then put in the type of palm tree or other tree that is decided on.
