Neighborhoods surrounding Bellarmine are petitioning the University to collaborate with them in a ''Good Neighbor'' Working Group to resolve issues of parking safety and disturbance from noise, lighting & traffic congestion. This Working Group would provide problem-solving for short-term issues, like student parking on narrow residential streets when on-campus parking is provided. Also, the Group would plan together with Bellarmine for long-range neighborhood development, like the athletic stadium and the purchase of multiple R-5 zoned properties with intent to use for student housing. Encourage Bellarmine University to participate cooperatively as a good neighbor.
