Belknap Neighborhood

Hi - We live on Dundee Road across from Atherton and are itching to build a front porch for the purpose of enjoying our summer evenings.  Are there any sorts of restrictions on what we can do?  We're just looking to stretch a simple porch across the front of the house and enhancing the gable over the front door; covered but not enclosed.  Any direction regarding design restrictions or to whom we should speak before getting started would be helpful. Hi Neighbor,

I live on Page and have considered doing exactly the same thing.  My porch is only about 1/3 covered by the over hang and I'd like to increase my porch by about 3 more feet out.  What did you find out?  Did you find a good builder?  I'm open to suggestions.  I'd need someone good with concrete work.
