the few people that did come by said they almost didn't because the sign at the entrance said montilla loop (a specific street that wasn't ours) oh well maybe next year we will buy some independent signage we didnt make it over to montilla loop, but one of our garage sale people told us that there was a car blocking the street on montilla loop, making traffic go a certain way....did anyone else see this? i dont think its legal but im not sure...hopefully it was just an enthusiastic garage sale person and not one of our homeowners well, the garage got cleaned anyway.... |

hi ya miko! glad your garage got cleaned out! It was great to go out with 10 boxes and only 2 boxes came back....aww! The signs you are talking about at the corner of rawls and then one was placed at erhlich too, were my own personal signs from when I had a sale back in november too! :) |

Blocking a county street is not legal! So I have recently been told by a deputy. The community can hire an off duty officer and he can direct traffic. I personally saw 4 vehicles go out the entry way. Could have caused and accident. Now I'm no attorney {Guardian or otherwise} but I would almost bet that since a board member did this [thinking it was a great idea] the community could have been liable if someone were hurt. One resident suggested the person who did it probably did it so they would come by his home on the West side of Montilla first and spend their money before they made it around to the East side. Deputy told me to call if it happens again and he will have them move their pickup and Suv. |
