I believe today is the last day to submit your candidacy information sheet to Denise at West Coast Realty, our property manager. You recently recieved in the mail the information along with the form to do this. I would hope that some residents would consider becoming a board member if you've never done so. It's not a tough job and there aren't that many meetings a year to attend. The best part is you get the inside scoop on what's happening with your community and your opinion and vote will count on any changes that may affect it.
The board consists of five people who are directors. Each have a title with certain responsibilities. First and foremost is the responsibility of every director to attend the meetings to stay informed and to vote on matters that are brought before it.
So, which would you rather do, sit back and let someone else worry about it or do you think it's time you played a part in it? I guarantee you won't be dissapointed and you will gain some knowledge about how things work in an association like ours.
