It's your money, what do you want it spent on? If you want a say in things a petition would be one good way to do it. All you have to do is put your idea(s) down a piece of paper and leave some blank lines for signatures from other residents. State that you want this or that done and you're tired of waiting to see it happen. Simple. You don't even have to be at the meeting. Just give the petition to a board member or drop it off at West Coast Management and ask them to put it on the agenda for the next meeting. Your voices will be heard.
Date the original and make a copy for yourself. Have the resident list their address next to their signature or you can write it down for them. It can be a couple of residents or many.
Let the board know that you care and you want to give input. Your maintenance dues are for just that, maintenance and upkeep.
Over the years the common areas and landscaping have declined in appearance. The board has noticed and will hopefully get things straightened up in that area. But, you are the eyes and ears that look at your community every day too. Give us your input!
