Susan & I attended the Council meeting where the topic was mostly concerning ordinance # 2. That's the beautification ordinance. The Arborist that the Commissioners are considering hiring answered questions on tree varieties & touched on the definitions of ''Canopy Trees''.
I came away convinced that our property rights are being infringed upon. We have lived here in quiet enjoyment for 21 years with no problems. Some of the new Commissioners feel that it is their right to impose their ideas of what's good for all of us. I resent that. I get along well with my neighbors & keep up my property. So do they. There has been no whining to Metro Government about anything. It is a frustration to me that ''Big Brother'' wants to decide my life for me.
