The question was asked: "How do I run for office?"
The Mayor and all four comissioner offices are up for election To run for office you must be a registered voter in Bellemeade and:
1. To the the Board of Elections at 810 Barrett and get the forms to fill out.
2. Get at least 2 voting residents of Bellemead to sign your nomination form.
3. You have until August 12 at 4 PM to turn in the completed forms and pay the $20.00 filing fee.
4. Go visit people and ask them to vote for you.
5. See what happens on election day.
We need civic minded people to take part in our city government.
