The culvert under Charing Cross road will be replaced sometime in January with a larger 36" pipe. Work to take less than a week.

Two or three years ago, I contacted MSD about water that fills my backyard every time it rains.  Sometimes, it gets as high as 2 feet and fills the garage and the basement.  I contacted the Bellmeade city maintenance director (a different person at that time) who came to assess the problem and told me, basically, that there was nothing he could do.  He suggested building a berm which would, maybe, keep the water out of my yard and send it to someone else's yard.  Not a permanent solution.  I did notice MSD on Chadwick Road a few weeks ago doing something to a drainage ditch.  Is there any chance that the problem in my backyard will be addressed in the future?  Is there anyone I can call at MSD to expedite this problem?  Thank you.

Are you still having a problem? That larger culvert was installed and should have helped with moving water away faster.
