I received the following email from a concerned citizen:
Good morning Mayor
I guess I got your attention. I live on Woodcleft and I do have a small dog that I walk daily. I also carry a bag to pick up her waste. But recently I have noticed that there is a lot of dog wste on the edges of neighbor's lawsn ahta is not being picked up.
I suspect these people are early morning or late evening walkers because I am home most of the day and those I see always pick up.
How can we address this issue so people pay attention?
Thank you for all you do.
Cindy Potts
Pet owners attention:
The law requires that you keep your pets on a leash or be fenced when out side. It also requires that if you walk you pet and it leaves droppings that you retreive said dropping for propler disposal.
Let's all be good neighbors and clean up after our pets and keep them under control.
