City of Bellemeade

I noticed the 5 - 6 pm speeders slowed down considerably the past 2 evenings (or maybe it was Monday and Tuesday) because there was a dark unmarked car parked in a drive-way only partially concealed just off Shelbyville Road observing traffic. 

OK!  Alright!!!  I have heard all of this bickering I can stand.  Mr. Mayor, the people are RIGHT!  You put 4 humps on Bellemeade Road which is not as long as North Chadwick Road.  Go figure?  I have driven on North Chadwick and Bellemeade both and I 100%ly agree with the people who are pleading for somebody to slow down the speeders.  Truthfully, I am totally displeased that money became the over-riding issue in deciding the number of speed humps to put it.  Safety of the residents and the people who drive on our streets should have been the determining factor.  PUT IN ENOUGH SPEED HUMPS TO SLOW DOWN THE ARROGANT IGNORNT DISRESPECTFUL SPEEDERS!!!

This particular post has lasted 29 posts.  It started when a man write a post out of fear for the safety of his children.  Reverend Mayor why  are you so damn arrogant yoursaelf that the only thing you have to say is that North Chadwick was supposed to get four and it is a dead issue?  The lady that secured the signatures on the petition was on the ground floor.  She said six were recommended (fuve at a minimum), but $$$$ spoke louder than safety and Chadwick got 4. 

Speed humps cost $2000.00 you say.  What does a funeral cost?  A double funeral?? Paid for a hospital bill lately?   Come Dr. Reverend Mayor Larry Odom-Groh and Bellemeade City Commission, do the right thing!

Out of curosity, may I politely ask why the questions and points that I posed in the above post were not attended to?

And, oh, I noticed that I spelled ignorant incorrectly.  Sorry.

I am being so nice tonight that I can't stand myself.  I'm liable to get all misty and cause my mascara to run.
