Dear Mayor,

Why after three days still the only snow removed is on Chadwick. Why does Mooregate section rate above other residents ?

North Chadwick belongs to the City of Louisville.   I believe, some of longer living here residents may correct me, years ago there was a police substation on Whipps Mills by the recycling center and the City of Louisville wanted to maintain North Chadwick for emergencies.

The rest of the streets belong to the City of Bellemeade.

This is so confusing.  I have found out that there are over 60 cities in what I thought was Louisville when I moved here.  I just found out about 10 days ago that I am not in Louisville.  My neighbors are. My other neighbors are in Lyndon, but a Middletown Fire truck comes down my street and a St. Matthews police car parks down the street.  How is that?

I have been reading the posts on this site and it sounds like Mayberry RFD or Dukes of Hazard  (I have not figured out how to get tv yet).  .  I guess Bellemeade doesn't have a Barney yet but it does appear there is a boss hog and he is working on the Barney angle.  I can't believe the contentiousness between the residents and the mayor.   I read that there was a contract to plow the snow, so why is that person complaining?  It just barely snowed . How big is Bellemeade ?  Is it just that area on the map on this site?

Add all of that stuff about low performing schools in and what have I gotten into?

Just to confuse you more - Actually Jefferson County owned North Chadwick and it was a Jefferson County police substation on Whipps Mill.  With the city/county merger North Chadwick now belongs to the City of Louisville.

Louisville is still a great city and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
