We have had a number of suspicious vehicles in Bellemeade recently. It is important to have an accurate description of the vehicle, passengers, and time of incident(s). You can use the camera on your cell phone to capture all of that. You can even download the pictures onto your computer, email them to your neighbors, Block Watch Captain, and the police There may even be a way to post them on this site.
Folks, when the criminals know we are alert, that see them and and see what they are doing AND that we SHALL call the police, they are less likely to mess with us. We have a new Neighborhood Watch Captain; let's all pitch in and help him get phone trees and block maps created and in turn help protect each other. Some blocks do not have any form of organization; let's remedy that shortfall too. If we don't take care of ourselves, who will?
Be sure you get a picture of the license plate of that vehicle. Better yet, if your cell phone has camcorder capability, just record it all. A picture is worth how many words?
